Is Tesco going to expand United States?
Tesco is the British chain of stores which has subsidiaries in many countries. In the beginning Tesco sold only food but they broadened the offer on clothes, electronics, equipment and cars. Besides Great Britain Tesco has stores in : Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Bohemia, Slovakia, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia.
In the next year Tesco is going to open new shops in USA. Tesco isc spending on it about 436 milion dollars form assets. The first store will be open on West Coast.
Terry Leachy, who is CEO, estimate that the food market in USA is going to make a profit of 600 bilion dollars annually. Tim Mason is marketing director and he is responsible for this enterprise.
Terry Leachy is sure that Tesco is going to achieve success in spite of analystes are very cateful in judge this plan.
